...I dare you to step closer to me...Finally got some extra days off for the holidays. Time to spend on what-ever-I-wanna-do arts / projects/ and a bunch of commissions that need to be done. ; v ;

I do not know what it is, but I think it's fantastic.
This image triggers in me a feeling that I can not describe.
The attitude of the man is fascinating. The facial expression is superb.
Then you have taken such perfect colors, giving the whole an air of mystery.
I love the picture and would really love to have it hanging in my room on the wall. XD

I am well versed in the history of WWII and the holocaust. It doesn't make the uniforms any less attractive.
I think it's disturbing that you assume all females that do like the way the uniform looks doesn't know about the history behind it. :\

Pros:
-The chair, I like the way it's drawn out linelessly. The back legs look really nice.
-The boot shine is very pleasant to look at. I could watch it for a while. Love it.
Cons:
-Armband is on the wrong side, the collar of this uniform doesn't look exactly like this, shoulder boards are missing and what's up with the hat? It irks me to see SS uniforms drawn badly, because there is tons and tons of references of it on the internet.
-Legs look very long and stiff.
-The chair has differently designed legs. What went wrong there? xD

maybe she just loosely based the uniform off the SS one. you don't see a swastika, after all, and it could be a bit "dangerous" to exactly imitate the SS uniform, which she doesn't mention referencing at all btw.

Both collar patches are correct, as well as the cuff title (which has no title on it, but most people forget to draw it), if she drew that, then it surely was an attempt to draw an SS uniform.
As poor as they may get, I can pretty much recognize every attempt of an SS uniform people draw. This one isn't all that poor, I've seen many far worse ones.

my point is, the purpose of the picture is not to draw a perfect SS uniform. the purpose is simply to draw a character in a uniform. we have no idea whether or not she WANTED an SS uniform, or just used it as a rough guide.

If you wish to draw it, you can at least try to draw it accurate.
And if she wanted to draw him in just a uniform, then she wouldn't draw most of the elements typical for this exact uniform.
Don't argue with me on this, I know a lot about 3rd reich uniforms.
