Ah. "Original" character.
Any character that is heavily influenced by someone else's character is hardly original. When will people start coming up with their own fresh ideas? *shakes head* All this character looks like is a hybrid version of that kid with the kitty whiskers from that weird show that I keep seeing everywhere in the media.
Aside from that, the drawing is good. Proportions are great, foreshortening is hard to do so well and you accomplished it great. Coloring is fantastic, especially for markers, which can be rather unruly.
But seriously... an unoriginal character AND anime style on top of that... X( Where's the originality these days?

U_U I am sorry if the character seems 'unoriginal' to you or anyone else.. because you see, naruto didn't even meet the public yet when I first created him, so technically it's not possible for me to have 'referenced' or 'copied' the series in any way.

my manga has started works in 1998.. and at that time anime/manga was practically non-existent (in stores) with the exception of doraemon, sailor moon and dragon ball (where I live) We didn't even have INTERNET yet back then

Ah, my apologies. I just assumed, since Naruto seems quite popular. I withdraw my criticism and I shall redirect it at the Naruto series! XD
Still, my comment on this could be useful to someone else planning on making characters. I tend to have an iron hammer in character criticism.

That's a good thing. Naruto's quite annoying to me. Anything that's so popular it hurts is just annoying in my book.
