Periwinkle Sparkle is a light purple unicorn who is a Mage and practices magic for a living. She was born and raised in Rainbow Falls and moved to Ponyville when she reached adulthood. Her father is Dusty and her mother is Violet Glimmer. She is the oldest sister of Melody Star and Cloudy Burst.

Periwinkle Sparkle, being a Mage, loves to practice and preform magic. While not exactly a magician, she is more like a wizard, as she knows a wide variety of spells. Her magic is powerful and is also the same level of Twilight Sparkle's magic when she was a unicorn, but is not as powerful as Starlight Glimmer. She can cast complex spells and likes combining spells to make new ones. However, she can't cast dark magic or alicorn magic, as attempting to do so will strain in her horn and causes it to stop working for a short period of time. Despite this, she loves casting magic and enjoys doing it.

In her spare time, she likes teaching in-experienced unicorn mares and fillies how to practice common magic like teleportation, levitation, and transfiguration. The ponies that she teaches consider her a good teacher.
Personality -
Periwinkle Sparkle is an extrovert. She has a lot of friends and likes to interact with other ponies. She is outgoing and open-minded, very accepting of different ponies.

Periwinkle Sparkle is very optimistic and confident. She likes to be positive and looks into the bright side of things. However, she does understand that some ponies can be depressed and negative and tries her best to help them.

Periwinkle Sparkle can be considered smart and intelligent due to her knowledge of magic.
