(Quick note for the glow effect on the wing patterns: I use Procreates “Bloom” effect, and just adjust it until it looks right. Alternatively, you can duplicate the pattern layer, set it to add, and blur it for a similar effect.)

I had way too much fun with her eye ref lol. I was gonna draw a fresh ref sheet, but I decided to fix up an old one from last year instead. Also, I turned 17 today, and I don’t know how to feel about it.

I’m pretty happy with her design, so hopefully I won’t have to change it again 😅. I’m not too happy with the background, so here is a version without the background , and another one with the front wing and no text .

Karasu is a main protagonist in my crossover fic /soon-to-be-comic, which can be read here on my archive
What I plan to do next: Stylized references for Heatwave and Optimus(for this crossover AU), updated refs of their dragon forms, a basic height chart to give a general idea of everyone’s size comparisons, and other stuff(probably more ref sheets 💀)

I’ve also been meaning to link some brushes that I’ve been using, so here’s the scales brush I used for her leggies, and here’s the stars brush that I’ve used in some of my previous works.
