The world is crumbling. Ending, if you will. There were no bombs, no magical Armageddon, and no mutations that kill us all. It was all simply created by the humans of whom had supposedly owned this earth for millions of years. First, the lowest level caved in, collapsing on itself. This of course took the middle class by surprise, and when the neglected and mistreated broke free, the prisons were over run. We were left defenseless against every criminal and psychopath that we had feared over the years.

The high class hired bodyguards, dogs, put up fences, anything that protected them and their precious money from plunder. The dogs were killed, bodyguards paid of to be spies, and fences were useless. Not that money mattered anymore. You could simply steal anything you wanted, what with the police, FBI, and the entire government over run. Friends turned on friends, family on family, and the world seemed to implode into hell itself. Any self righteous bible-humpers were sent straight to His arms. We became the very epitome of hatred, loathing, and despise that we had tried so hard to ignore by speaking of Kony, global problems, and so on.

I look into the eyes of every innocent victim of the apocalypse subconsciously and see what they really feel. They're dead inside, as well as out now. Vacancy, fear, sadness, and horror are what their eyes hold. The mask of emotion they wore previously has been removed, and their true colours show. Instead of a beautiful butterfly or what ever the fairy tales say is there, you see a mangled, twisted, obliterated piece of flesh filled with every vile emotion and rot known to man. We are all doomed to decompose in a nasty, gory wreck of fire, due to the ignorance we have shown, and I can't think of any way we could have stopped this. It is our nature, after all, to run and hide in danger. We were following orders to strong to overcome. All I ask of you is to tell me what you see in my eyes as I speak of this. what do you see?
