My first deviation! (Updated) This was a request from a good friend of mine. She wanted a half-kangaroo rat, half-human girl for an Rpg storyline she was working on.

Mercy's origins aren't easy to pinpoint. She appeared as a young girl, already well into her adolescent stage with a strange bracelet around her wrist. She doesn't have a lot of social experience and so is still trying to adapt to ordinary life. The truth is that she was one of many test-subjects for a series of inhumane experiments focused on extending and increasing the quality and usefulness of regular human life. Though there were many, she is but one of a very small percentage to survive. She is now in one of the final phases of the experiment. The scientists involved want to see how she will adapt to the real world and how long she will survive without any help or support.

(Edit: I know the lineart is a bit sketchy and the colors aren't always perfectly aligned, but I did a lot of experimenting on this pic, and I'm still learning PhotoShop. Nowhere to go from here, but up. )
