High priestess: “may the light of the Diamonds guide you!”

Garnet snarls “they’re not guides! Not to us!”

Han Snorted “really? It’s nothing to get upset about, cubehead, clearly they’re just a bunch of religious zealots. Not worth listening to any more than that old Jedi was…”

Priestess 1: “you would do well to respect the gems, Human! Especially the Diamonds, for we have waited thousands of years for their return!”

Leia: “alright, this is getting us nowhere, just tell us who you are and where the nearest shipyard is. I’d like to rendezvous with the rebel fleet again as soon as possible.”

Luke: “I’m curious about that too, are you Jedi?”

Priestess 2: “we are not those fools, who claim to know the structure and power of the Force, boy, nor are we the violent and secretive Sith. Only through the gems can the true nature of the Force be understood!”

High priestess: “our sister speaks out of turn, but she is right. We have watched the Jedi and Sith war for countless generations, one side never truly undoing the other. They do not see that the Gems who came to our galaxy, to this very planet Christophsis long ago to bless us with the crystal structures that dot this entire world, we have seen their miracles, and we have patiently waited for them to return.”

Amethyst: “man, what a bunch of weirdos, am I right Han?”

Han: “yeah, no kidding.”

High priestess: “it is true! We have waited so very long for a sign of their return! And now, finally, you have returned, mistresses! Now, we can return this broken galaxy back to glory and greatness! The only thing missing is the great fusion…”

Steven: “fusion? You guys know about that?”

Priestess 3: “yes. We have interpreted the will of the Force, and it has told us that a great combination of Organic and Gem will lead us into a new era of peace. He will destroy the galactic empire, and return the gems to the galaxy!”
Steven: “wait, you don’t mean…”

He lifts up his shirt:

“This?”

All the priestesses gasped.

High priestess: “it cannot be… it has never happened before, and yet-“

She turned to face the others

“Priestesses of the Crystalline Form, our savior has come!”

They all bowed and gave the salute to their new guests, smiling broadly as they did.
