Civil War reference?
I had kinda hoped that would actually happen...Civil War led me to grow a deep seeded hate for Iron Man.

I developed a Tony Stark grudge after Civil War, too. Matt Fraction's Invincible Iron Man cured it, though.

Matt Fraction has a tendency to ignore have the crap Tony pulled during Civil War.

Matt Fraction has a tendency to ignore HALF the crap Tony pulled during Civil War.
(god...I hate that auto-complete thing in my browser)

oh, ok. my mistake.
"what if?" as in what would happen if Tony died? sort of like "A Christmas Carol" isnΒ΄t it?
ps.: itΒ΄s great to see you work here. had lost track of you since your Superman days.

Despite being a huge (and long-time) Ironman fan, I think the alternate story could be really good. Cap is everything, from a moral perspective, Tony could only hope to be - having the reality reversed opens so many new opportunities.
Long story short: great sketch
