Length: 6 meters (20 feet) long, and possibly up to 8 meters (26 feet) long
Weight: 1.3 to 3.6 tonnes (1.4 to 4 tons)
Diet: Herbivore

The fragmentary remains of this dinosaur show the typical down-turned jaw with the leaf-shaped teeth, and the hip bones with the swept-back pubis that give the impression of an ornithischian dinosaur. These are important details in establishing the make-up of this whole line of bizarre long-clawed and pot-bellied dinosaurs. Segnosaurus is such an important animal that the name Segnosauria has been proposed as an alternative name for the group. We know of only these few remains uncovered, but the whole creature can be restored by comparison with its close relatives Therizinosaurus and Erlikosaurus.

Basically, Segnosaurus had scaled-down versions of Therizinosaurus' arms and claws, and have a herbivorous diet based on Erlikosaurus' skull features.
