Description
Zai (sometimes scientifically known as 8897 Galliphyn e) is a distant Earth-like planet slightly warmer and smaller than Earth located more than 530 light-years, is only 70 the size 60% the mass and 80% the gravity of Earth with a 22-hour long day, its atmosphere is 2x as dense as Earth's and is comprised of 30% oxygen and 70% nitrogen. It is the 4th planet from its sun-like star Rojan (8897 Galliphyn, a G8V type) and orbits it at a distance of 0.72 AU and it takes approximately 236 days to make one orbit.
The average temperature is roughly 20 degrees C or 68 degrees F and axial tilt is about 25 degrees, which means that seasons on Zai vary slightly more than seasons on Earth. Zai has 5 known moons named Graiza, Kodiak, Cyra, Hyta, and Onyx. The biggest and closest moon Graiza is slightly smaller than our own moon but both are still pretty similar in appearance and texture, the other 4 father ones are 4 small Phobos sized minor moons that are most likely captured asteroids. Zai was formed roughly 4.9 billion years ago.
_History_
Zai was discovered somewhere around the 2040s found more than 530 light years away but was not recognized as habitable due to a lack of presence and it’s small size but was later payed attention a few centuries later (somewhere in the mid 26th century) after technology gotten more advanced.
In this future humanity might of succeed or downfall but in any way it didn’t stop them by adventuring around the galaxy. Humans have visited several planets with life outside of Earth already and Zai was somewhat the 30th something exoplanet visited in this timeline and only a pack of humans were attending the journey, when they got there they were told to study the organisms that inhabit it if the planet harbored any complex life. They have found and studied many wonderful creatures and unique plants that possessed a purple pigment which made the planet look purple from above. But the journey was quite short and the pack had to return home, thus Zai is still filled with many mysteries.
Many of the documented data is long lost and it was poorly understood by much future humans, the most documented data was found in a sketchbook that belonged to an inmate in the crew that visited Zai.
