this is like 1 year ago when i posted the sketch~ Only now I finished it, mainly because the background is giving me a really hard time~ give up colouring this for a looooooong time. Had some refernce from cowbelltiara's art. I still think the bg is crap....... I dun like the water.... but I'm pretty happy with the rocks and waterfall......gotta practice more bg.....

I think the only thing you would need to work on as far as the background goes is the logistics of it. A waterfall that tall would seem to have something to left of it (the viewer's left) not just the sky. Going with what you chose though, I like it and the characters / foreground are especially well drawn.

Very well done. As for water, water is just one large nasty bitch due to the fact that unless it's in a environment where nothing is acting upon it, it is extremely dynamic in how it acts and moves.
