Description
Once upon a time I was sitting at my friend's bar with a sketchbook. I was drunk, 26 years old,and quite impulsive. Also I have quite an abhorreous laughter. So one of my friends joked something about me being "a trickster hyena guy". I laughed, took my sketchbook, and began to draw caricature doodles of my friends as a different anthro animals. They liked it quite alot. All of them had a signed original of their "portraits". In the end I have drawn myself as a spotted hyena, drawing caricature with mischevious look. This work is a remembrance about that time when things were less hard and more lighthearted. Some of those friends are not among the living anymore due to war russia started on Ukraine. Several others I lost contact with. So, from that time laughing hyenas make me both smile and shed lonely teardrop, that I quickly wipe away untill somebody sees.
