Hey again! I'm back with some more art and oc stuff. So, Lightsabers have lots of lore and things to keep in mind when giving your character one of them. Design and story are equally important, they help shaping your characters fighting style, and can tell us about them as a person.
Seths' Lightsabers are something I've been trying to figure out for a while. I wasn't sure if I wanted him to use a Lightsaber at all. In the beginning, I had ideas for him using a Lightwhip, but it didn't go with his personality. The Lightwhip was to elegant and slow. Next up, I made a design for a Lightsaber that had a blade similar to a scimitar (a short sword with a curved blade) but it seemed to be difficult to carry around because of its design, so I scrapped it.

These two Lightsabers can be used both separately, and as a dual bladed saber. They use a pair of synthetic crystals. Originally, there was only one saber, it was used by Seth during his training. Upon his masters death, he stole the dead man's Lightsaber and began training with 2 sabers using training droids. At one point, he became interested in the idea of dual sabers, like the one used by Darth Maul. Intrigued, he modified the two sabers to look identical, and installed a lock on the end of each saber, this way they could be locked together to create one double ended Lightsaber.
