*EDIT 6-4-2013* I know you might be wondering why this is appearing in your notifications again, but I 'remastered' this image by fixing some of the major errors of this work and also making some lighting adjustments. I hope you like this version better

*EDIT* I figured out what was bothering me - there was too much negative space in the sky, and Jack's knee was flat! I added some northern lights to fill the space and make the scene colder (and prettier) over all, and I also added a little reflective light to his knee to add depth. Hope you like the additions.
Jack Frost, as he spreads the first snow flakes of winter. Man in the Moon, meanwhile, quietly peers from behind the clouds to watch him work...

Those Northern lights are my favorite detail!~ I love how it was something you didn't intend at first, but that touch of purple adds some warmth to the scene and helps the lights look less stark and thus warmer themselves.~<3

I have to give my dad credit for the idea of adding the northern lights. When I 'finished' this work, he took a look at it and said "would look better with some northern lights". And I was all "by jove you're right!!" I'm so glad he mentioned it, as it adds a spectacular depth and, as you said, warmth, that it wouldn't have had otherwise. So I'm very happy that you like that detail
