Yeah, she is. Unless its needed, she won't use big words like "sustenance." She's too awesome for that.
Finn, on the other hand, has a wider vocabulary than should be expected from a twelve-thirteen year old. "Sentient Beings?" (A line in "Henchman") That's a phrase used only by those who really have that in their everyday vocabulary or have been taught it by someone else. Finn likely learned it to cope with the idea that just about everything in Ooo is a sentient being and so learned to use broad labels to attach to such beings.
