NOTE: OUTDATED

  Serial Designation - A

  Robot class - Murder Drone

  Augmentation Title - Blades

  Date - November 18, 2121

  Log Author - Cassandra Timmons

I still can't believe corporate is making us make these things, especially with augmentations, but eh, it pays my rent. Any who, today's subject is A, both her and her teammates are a  new special class of murder drone we've dubbed as, " AMDE " ( Augmented Murder Drone Experiment ). For some background, A and her teammates were recycled worker drone models that we transformed into murder drones. It's definitely new, given we had to recode, remodel, and add new tech to them, but this did save the money we needed to add said augmentations; so I guess it evens itself out.

According to her background, A was originally a worker drone child caretaker model, and was apparently given the name, " Jessabelle " by the child she cared for. Unfortunately, she lost her job and was subsequently arrested for an aggravated assault against [[ REDACTED ]] on [[ REDACTED ]], in an attempt to protect the child she was caring for. She was going to be destroyed, when corporate took the opportunity to salvage her, and rework her into a killing machine, given she was already capable of extreme violence. Although if you ask me, I have no clue why they'd take a robot with a recent history of assaulting people, but she apparently wishes to fix her mistakes according to interviews by killing worker drones. We promised her that if she did a good job, we'd consider giving her her job back, but I don't think corporate is personally. Which is a darn shame, because she seems genuinely heartbroken by her being separated from the kid, and wants to right her wrongs. However, I can't really change her fate, I'm just a chick who writes logs and did the interviews for these things, not the higher up decision makers.

Speaking of those interviews, Jessabelle's went fairly smooth... after about two hours. Yea, To make a long story short, the first two hours of that interview consisted of her crying her nonexistent eyes out about how sorry she is, and begging me not to kill her. Here's a highlight I've noted from it after we successfully calmed her down. If you wish to hear the whole thing, you can go into the separate logs and listen to them in full.

  Cas. = Cassandra Timmons ( Interviewer )
  Jess. = Jessabelle ( Subject )

Cas. - " So, do you mind telling me why you think you're here? "
Jess. - " I- I suppose to be interviewed and put on the front headlines of the newspapers..?
Cas. - " No, to put it short, and to quell your fears, we're not going to kill you, we're- "
Jess. - " Oh thank the Heavens! Thank you! Thank you! I'm- "
Cas. - " Interrupt me again, and we WILL kill you. "
  Jess. - ( In a shushed tone ) " S- so sorry miss... "
Cas. - " Now, you are here for another reason, that is that corporate considers you special enough to add you into the, ' augmented murder drone experiment '. To make a long explanation short, we're going to reuse your body and some of your code to create a murder drone. You'll be sent alongside two other murder drones and sent to a nearby exoplanet. Your task should hopefully be very simple, kill any and all worker drones on that planet, mercy none of them! If you do well enough, we might consider turning you back into a worker drone, and reuniting you with the child you cared for. NOW you may speak. "
Jess. - " I... will I be the same? Because it sounds like you're just going to kill me..! "
Cas. - " You'll still be, ' you ' but you'll feel and behave a bit differently, but we aren't going to erase you from history, I assure you. "
Jess. - " Okay then, what about her though? "
  Cas. - " Who? "
Jess. - " My daughter! What has happened to her in my absence? "
Cas. - " To my understanding, she's being cared for by an aunt. Like I said though, if you do a good job, we'll let you care for her again with the surveillance of the previously mentioned aunt. "
Jess. - " Good, that's all I want, maybe humans will trust me again once I prove that I'm not a complete screw up! ( Sighs ) Now then, where do I begin ma'am? "

After months of testing, troubleshooting, and redesigning, Jessabelle was successfully transformed and renamed to serial designation A.

A's physical augmentations include the following:
 - She's significantly faster and more agile than a typical murder drone model, as she is now twice as fast. The downsides of which include her having trouble slowing down, and hitting top speeds can be very dangerous for her. As her daintier frame and her model not being prepared for such speeds causes her body to start pulling itself apart once she starts hitting speeds of around mach 1. However, we've implemented an alarm that does warn her when she's about to hit such speeds, and she's been taught to slow down once this alarm goes off.
 - She's been implanted with a total of ten blades scattered across her body, six on her head, two in her thighs, and two more in her feet. She can detach any of these blades from her body and use them to fight, but these blades come with a special perc, one that allows her to move these blades even when they're not in her hands. The way she moves these blades around is through a sort of laser pointer in her left and right fingers, excluding her thumbs. This allows A to move these blades wherever the laser points to. Downsides to this include the laser being unable to travel through walls or any solid matter, however glass and other transparent materials still work. The other downside is that mirrors or any reflective surface can redirect the laser at whatever it is now pointing to.

    Personality -
Surprisingly, Jessabelle's code worked well with the new murder drone code, however we have learned that the leftover code from the worker drones can spaz into effect and have control from time to time, this effectively gives them all two personalities each. Though we have also since learned that the worker drone AI only spazzes into effect under specific circumstances. In A's case, It's the knowing presence of children between the ages of a newborn to sixteen. Which is why she's left them to her teammates in training missions. Aside from the murder, we've learned a few other things about her semi mixed personalities outside of combat. One such being her desire to be pretty, she has on several occasions now asked for outfits, and such requests have been denied, much to her dismay. Another is her distaste towards one of her teammates, serial designation M, they get along as well as oil and water. M and A wanting to have it their own unique ways when it comes to attacking colonies. This had led them to frequently but heads with each other. As a solution, we gave team leader status to the other team member, serial designation W. With his more calm and understanding viewpoints, he has generally ceased the feuds between A and M. The next few are a list of just more social observations from A specifically between teammates, prey, and other scientists.

  - Impulsivity
  - Perfectionism
  - Joy from watching her prey suffer before subsequently killing them ( we've considered this as a lesser form of sadism, as she finds it entertaining rather than arousing ).
  - Exaggerated and more emotional reactions to things.
  - She has on several occasions removed the outfits from prey that she deemed, " cute " before killing them.
  - Submissiveness towards W ( in other words, she listens to whatever he says ).
  - Has a tendency to toy with her prey, again, before subsequently killing them.
  - She likes to show off her kills, and the best way to describe it is that it's equivalent to the northern shrike ( we've had to remove these from her room on several occasions, much to her dismay ).
  - She's far from a narcissist, but she does have a bit of an ego, but she is generally respectful to most staff.
  - She's quite frankly blunt, she'll tell you you're garbage at your job straight to your face, but will also stop somebody mid sentence to tell them their hair looks pretty.
  - We've learned A likes to sing and dance when she thinks she's alone. She's pretty good at it too.

Conclusion - A has been deemed a success, and is scheduled to leave with her team in about two months.
