[History]: Pearl comes from a quite rich and successful family from Coumarine City, she comes from a large family being the youngest of her 5 siblings so she is the baby of the family. Though, she was destined to be with a rich and successful businessman, her life was quite lonely from a young age. Her closest sibling, Silver was 7 when she was born so she had to play alone. But she always watched TV shows of people having a “normal” life.

And she dreamed of that life, she aspired to be like that. She knew that she really enjoyed the food that the cooks made and watching people make food on the tv so she started to sneak into the kitchen of the house to help the cooks with some cooking so she could eventually get a job as a cook. She got scolded by her mother saying that she would be better off as the pretty woman by a man’s side but Pearl knew that she didn’t want that, so she continued to sneak into the kitchen.

When she turned 16, she pleaded to get a job. Her mother told her that she wouldn’t get it, because she just wanted her to stay the little baby of the family, but her father told her that if she tried really hard that maybe one day, she could go to Lumiose City and become a famous chef. So her father convinced her mother to let her have the job. She got a terrible job as a cook where her boss would yell at her constantly for no reason at all and she was crushed, it was nothing like she expected but her father told her that if she gave up that it was never get better, so she knew that she had to try harder for him.

Her father made a promise that if she could make enough money to buy an apartment, she would get help from her father with certain payments. After years of sweat and tears, she got enough money to move to Lumiose. That was her dream city to go to. That’s where all the dream cooks go and she decided to apply for the Club Cafe.
