Description It is typical to man to mimic the creation of life in ones ideal image. A puppeteer is a person who manipulates an inanimate object using strings. The brilliant use of strings gives the puppeteer full control of his puppet.

An excellent analogy of dominance. The unmistakable fact however is that there is always someone or something pulling your strings as part of an endless fractal.

This piece was originally inspired from my data structures and algorithms lectures.. I was immediately fascinated by recursive methods

The puppeteer concept is to me pretty worn out, but I think it turned out more interesting in this context.

Painted with inks, later scanned and processed in photoshop.

yes. although there is no indications that there is a priest in the picture, our mental models of scepters and crosses immediately makes us think of some controlling religion. A typical western perception

i like the way that the concept of control extends even to the puppet the puppeteer is holding. the puppet itself controls another

Amazing concept, I adore how the strings feed into the cross making him a puppet to a higher being.. May be obvious.. but I love it!.. Thats what it looks like in my opinion anyways

thank you You got it right. It may sound silly, but I've really tried lately to make my art more accessible and obvious.

really good illustration of the concept of dominance for some reason, it makes me think of keith thompson's style

I don't often see concepts that I am enthusiastic about. This is one of the exceptions, and on top of that it's wonderfully executed.

Thank you.

I agree, you've reinfused the puppeteer with a sort of depth. Cool.
