This photography intrigues my for a while.
It is perhaps due to the way you took it or perhaps that I've had here a very great idea...
A very great photography

James Bond/Avengers/Jason Bourne style? And yet, it's very autobiographical...

I'll say yes! Even though I've never seen a James Bond film... not yet anyway...

That's ok! *searches for name* One Eyed Amongst the Blind.... um.... well, that's ok all the same! great shot!

mm.. yes. James Bond ahs never really appealed to me... well, except the new James Bond... and Pierce Brosnan... hehehehe

Well, he's overrated... And a dinosaur of a sort - a relic of the Cold War really...

Now it'll be Daniel Craig.

diarabi In reply to Egir [2006-04-29 00:28:17 +0000 UTC]

Oh yes, Daniel Craig... lovely.

Yes... he seems to be. I've never been taken by Sean Connery either... I don't understand other females..

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Egir In reply to diarabi [2006-04-29 07:42:20 +0000 UTC]

Well, he is old now... But dashing still... I guess he's the persnification of maturity. But I will always remember him wearing a Russian Navy uniform... And speaking my mother-tongue with heavy Scottish accent!

Craig is really talented. Although he's not considered a star of heavy magnitude, I always liked his roles... Last one I saw, "Archangel", was very nice indeed, and he mastered the main part more than well...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

diarabi In reply to Egir [2006-04-29 22:42:43 +0000 UTC]

mm.. m... I don't know about dashing. Looking at some scenes in the old Bond films he wasn't that great, I don't think.. haha...

oh yes,... you're Russian. I'd love to go to Russia one day.. *dreams...* hahaha...

Yes... didn't he get hate mail from strict Bond fans because he has blond hair?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Egir In reply to diarabi [2006-04-30 05:06:44 +0000 UTC]

Not only that, but he was called "James Blond" by them... But I think he'll do very well... If Timothy Dalton passed with success, Danny will too...

To Russia? If I can make a suggestion - go to StPetersburg first, then to Moscow... (there is a "rivalry" between the muskovites and the peterburgians... Well, sorta. One that is only evident to Russians. Each takes pride of his birthplace. )

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

diarabi In reply to Egir [2006-04-30 10:34:11 +0000 UTC]

hahaha... really? Fancy that... maybe with that nickname he was meant to be the next James Bond...

Yes yes... to Russia. Probably for the music/music history. I like a few Russian composers and gypsy music ... and I would like to say the cold weather, but I imagine it would get horribly cold in Winter...

haha... wow. Very different from Aussies... we're very... apathetic about most things... well, some are patriotic... but at the moment I'm hoping to become and ex-pat...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Egir In reply to diarabi [2006-05-01 06:23:49 +0000 UTC]

The Russian gypsy music is something indeed extra-ordinary... You can easily find a lot of stuff to download on the Russian internet, or in the Russian communities on livejournal, if you use this blogger... (I myself took the advice of a friend and joined yesterday - already have downloaded about 20 CDs, mostly soundtracks, which I collect, but also the album "Tribute to DeadCanDance", a group which I absolutely ADORE - I think you'd like it lot too - and the last album of Sting...)
There are many Russian singers that use the gypsy styles in their music, all the stereotypes too, from the guitar accompaniement, to the themes of the songs; mainly because these ballads - thy're actually called tsiganskie romansy (i.e. gypsy romances), have been part of the Russian musical culture for years now... What's more, for about 200-250 years...

It goes more than - and apart from - feeling patriotic... It's like... Hmmm... It's like Oxford and Cambridge, in a sence. A genuine pride of being in one, and not in the other. Similarly with the Muskovites and the Petersburgians... And it all has to do with the status of capital - St Petersburg was the Russian capital for more than 300 years, but in the other hand, Moskow was not only during the Soviet period, but it was also the ancient capitalof the Empire (after the Kievan Rus' period)... So, a bit of history there...

well, I see that I am facing a very complex creature here... Carefull now - I am not really sure that I want to know what do you do to women when you are not gentle ?...
I guess that I grown to like the gentleness - though sometimes we do all face a challenge we can't refuse

It's the particular lack of it, I guess, in modern times, that makes us appreciate the tender feeling...

Denneris In reply to Egir [2006-04-19 09:34:10 +0000 UTC]

yeah, truth you are saying my old lad ... lack of something reminds us how sweet presence of the same thing can be ...for example - youth ....
when we have it - usually we are so arogant and mighty - we sometimes neglect it...ahh, too philosophical I get , when ~I have bunch of serious things on my desk!!
...BTW, you are a good person to talk to : though you eat junk food

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Egir In reply to Denneris [2006-04-19 09:47:13 +0000 UTC]

Well, I blew all my money on books those days (and had to pay overweight at the airport too later on)... So junk was the only choice... But you can always invite me to a dinner - you'll cook something special. I have no taboo when it comes to food...
You shouldn't get too philosophical about age - women get cleverer as the years go by, and that's something I like more than looks... Besides you're what, in your twenties?

Denneris In reply to Egir [2006-04-19 10:07:43 +0000 UTC]

hehhe, you are one little charmer, ain't u
haven't you seen my page - i am honest about my age...
I am vegetarian and you can get only veggy food here< and yes, I do like to cook
I think you saved your self by saying that you\ve spent all your money on books! Good enough reason - I would do the same - actually - did so, few times when I was your age ))))))))))))...and OK - I do this even now - and shoes, of course

Egir In reply to Denneris [2006-04-19 10:23:40 +0000 UTC]

I have seen it... And yet, I felt like boosting your self-confidence...
Vegetarian? Well, I guess it could be worse; you could be a frutarian, and then I'd be in trouble... I myself love things bloody, but here the pleasant company would be a much more important factor...
The good ol' Slav spirit! You too read a lot, yes? Well, for me its a passion - I'm insatiable! My age? You mean a year ago, right?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Denneris In reply to Egir [2006-04-19 10:36:17 +0000 UTC]

wow, thanks, you r a real gentlemen!!! i have no problem with self-confidence, just with time no philosophical explanation can't satisfy the need to understand why don't I feel/behave as I should (by society standars/cultural habitus I live in)...I guess that understanding will come one day Anyway - we do live in the best possible world - don't we (according to Leibnitz

Egir In reply to Denneris [2006-04-19 11:27:28 +0000 UTC]

Hmmm... The "best" is subjective, to say the least...
Well, you maybe are an objectionist, or just a normal logical human being, who makes a critical assessment of everything society and modernity is feeding the wide public, and you don't want to be part of the mob... Which is good... Really good...

in my ex-life , while I was still searching for the meaning of life I used to study kierkegaard and school of exsitentialism, and I think that I still believe in making choices and very often staying in esthetical stadium...everyhting above this - scares me...
anyway, choices before us are very often painfull, complex and - make you a part of the uniform mob....

Egir In reply to Denneris [2006-04-19 12:07:11 +0000 UTC]

Living your life to the fullest extent? Well, in a sence... I suppose I'm in the opposition here - more of a rationalist... But then again, such complicated questions as the meaning of life have different answers for all. Philosophy gives the theoretical basis, psychology and science provide the gift of observation and practice, religion adds flavour... And still it is impossible to answer...
Are you a religious person? If you don't mind my asking...
