DA's policy has a tricky little nuance in it that states they consider all fanart to be of characters as they appeared within the source material from which they were derived. I could take any character and age it up in obvious anatomical ways and they'll still consider it to be an under aged character. What's interesting is that they'll still do this when it comes to a series when a character is actually depicted as being grown up sometimes. Very odd.
But yeah, for future reference... that's how they decide that stuff. I spend too much time reading the "fine print".
