Description
John 8:1-111 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" 6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" 11 "No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."

They've changed my life, changed the way I act on the Earth. Doesn't that make them kind of "real."?Β
They might be imaginary, but, but they're more important than most of us here. And they're all gonna be around long after we're dead.Β

God showed me what He wrote .. we know from exodus that God wrote the commandments in stone by the "finger of God" .. notice how in the new testament Jesus was on the ground for some time ... Jesus wrote the commandments by the "finger of God" (since He is God) broken by the woman on the earth where the woman had to return ... and He buried those broken laws since the Son has the power to forgive sinΒ

Thank you. No, I am not a Catholic in the denominational sense. But I am part of the catholic (worldwide) body of Christ made up of followers of Christ who may be in all sorts of denominations, whether that is Catholic, Presbyterian, Baptist, or whatever. How about you?

One of the biggest mysteries in the whole Book. Yes Yeshua wrote in the sand and it silenced all who were there....but WHAT was written? How I would love to know.Β

I like this a lot! My only feedback/critique for the future would be the lady's face. She doesn't really look like someone who's under the shadow of death, you know? A little too "okay." She's kind of lacking desperation, fear, so on and so forth. Also her hair is so perfect. She's just been dragged across town to be stoned, you know? Just some ideas for the future. Otherwise, I love this. Fav'd!

Yep....actually, the original sketch was more in the light you described. But this version was done for an elementary curriculum and the editors were concerned about it being age-appropriate. So it was "smoothed" out a bit.
Thanks!
