"Dave hissed at the defeated bug, readying to finish it off, when Pit's voice finally drilled into his mind. "DAVE! What are you doing?! Stop!" Dave didn't want to obey, but just this once, he would. He knew he wouldn't get treats in the evening if he would disobey. Pit saw the strange creature on the ground and grimaced visibly. "What is that..." He leaned forward closer to take a better look... "What... the **** is that... WHAT IS THAT?!" Whatever it was, it was vile, horrible and... seemingly dying. "Dave! Why!" Pit scolded his bird as he reluctantly picked up the injured creature. There was no one around for him to just push it onto so he would simply rush it to the nearest Pokécenter and pray to whatever divine was listening that he'd find SOMEONE who would want to take this thing off his hands. Assuming it won't die before he gets there."

I am not sure what possessed me but I felt like drawing a desert BG? The swarm doesn't have anything specified so. XD I wanted something with less snow because I'm SICK and TIRED of drawing snow. I was THINKING the areas around Ironridge might be wasteland-y but I really have no idea. May just be me thinking of it like something out of a western movie. For all I know he could have decided to make a road trip to Blackwater town and this would have happened somewhere between the Zeppeli Desert and Oakheart. xD And the bug? I guess a bird carried it here from the woods but dropped it because EW, THORNS AND IVY.

OH WELL. I GOT MY VARIETY DONE. WOOP WOOP.

Pit is still being ignorant about Pokémon! Woo! I imagine him being like. Someone from Iceland traveling to Australia and being thrown to the Outback with all the giant spiders and whatnot. And bugs? He was never a big fan. Sure, Caterpies and other harmless ones are okay, but THIS? A weird thing covered in thorns and poison ivy? NOT A FAN, NOT A FAN. And now he has to take it to a Pokecenter? I swear, he considered just leaving it there, but he had a feeling he wouldn't be able to live with himself knowing Dave killed that... whatever it is.
Luckily for him, it seems Bob was willing to give this Corrupted Burmy a loving home. :> WHAT. A. RELIEF. TAKE IT, PLEASE.

Still, Dave is salty he didn't get to eat this one. Though I say it's for his best... I have a feeling eating that many poison ivy leaves and inch-long thorns can't be healthy for him!

Also woo! Pit in his full biking gear with helmet and gloves!
