New outfits for RWBY volume 7, yeah! The new designs just dropped last weekend so I'll be posting them here
Β I had a lot of fun designing their new outfits.
First up is Ruby - belts, pleated skirt, spiky shounen hair, wew

I am loving the new outfit. I am curious though. How much of her hair standing up is from the wind and how much is from the shonen spikes?

Ruby's V4-6 design was my favorite out of Team RWBY, so I think it's great how the new design builds on that instead of going for something completely new.
I love how it keeps the style of the previous outfit and tweaks it here and there. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

because atlas is a winter zone.
i undertand why they change to volume 3 to volume 4... was a time skip... but why they change again ?
Another time skip? , more clothes for the snow? ,Β not be recognized ?

it's a part of little bit of everything, with weiss, it's so she can have a little more functionality rather than being in a ballroom dress in even colder weather, Blake has a reason for a new outfit change because Adam cut up her jacket and broke her sword.
But most of it is that it's been 3 volumes of them in these outfits, going from one Kingdom to the other is the perfect time to have an outfit change.
And don't worry, they wont appear straight out in new outfits, in the preview scene they showed during RTX, they had all of them in their v6 clothing fighting grimm. Then, kerry made a mention about what's in the gift bag Ruby got for Yang.Β
All in All, dont worry, given what they showed, they'll ease into the new outfit with a good reason to change into their new clothing. Much like with Jaune being in his v1-3 outfit in most of ep1 of v4, then getting his new outfit for the last part of the episode.

Fair enough, but comparatively to the beacon days, she looked more like a rambunctious school girl (Which she was) than a monster hunter. If anything, this is a great visual representation of her growth.

Ruby's outfit doesn't change much from Volume 6 to Volume 7. At least not as much as everyone else so far on Team RWBY.

I love it! I'm forward to RWBY Vol 7, even though I'm stuck on Volume 1, but I saw ALL OF CHIBI. Anyhow, I'm hype for it.
