************************** The Great DD Round-Up: June 2018Hello and Welcome!
Welcome to this Feature-series at the home photography, CRPhotography in which all of this month's photography Daily Deviations will be included!
But what is a Daily Deviation? Allow me to introduce you!
A Daily Deviation is feature which is selected by Community Volunteers (also known as CV's). CV's have their assigned galleries, from which they pick outstanding pieces of work for this special feature. A DD is a special feature any deviant can receive once per 6 months.
Of course, you can also suggest artwork for Daily Deviations to the Community Volunteers. In fact, we encourage you to do so! That way, the CV's might see artwork they might have not seen otherwise, which means your suggestion might make a huge difference in whether the artist gets a DD or not! And if the CV ends up featuring your suggestion, you get a cool tag underneath it, that says it was suggested by you!

Exploring Abstract and Surreal PhotographyAbstract & Surreal Photography
Hello all!
Yuukon here for Abstract & Surreal Photography weekend!
Today, I am here to show you a set of abstract and surreal photographs through the eyes of artists who are not familiar with the works. I have asked a group of awesome people to share their thoughts and feelings when seeing these works.
When you are unfamiliar with abstract and surreal photography, it can be confusing, strange and weird, but once you look at them closely, you'll see how amazing these shots are. I promise you it will definitely be worth the ride!
Enjoy!

I am very much enjoying the variety of colours in this photograph. It feels almost like a landscape to me, the brown part being the land and the blue being the sky. Perhaps the lines are airplane trails, or birds shooting up into the sky so fast our eye can't keep up. The dynamic of this shot is absolutely lovely, and I could most certainly get lost i With These Hands, LoveEver get reminded of something so timely, it's timeless? The words to this song ring true today, please give it a listen, and as always, may you find inspiration in the wonderful art featured below. God bless you all and thank you for all you do to share love and encouragement with one another and make this a place worth living in!
<--Poetry by wordturner
I must've dreamed a thousand dreams | Been haunted by a million screams | But I can hear the marching feet | They're moving into the street.
Now did you read the news today | They say the danger's gone away | But I can see the fires still alight | They're burning into the night.
There's too many men | Too many people | Making too many problems | And not much love to go round | Can't you see this is a land of confusion.
This is the world we live in | And these are the hands we're given | Use them and let's st Sky's the Limit(message to the general public and not to anyone in particular!
What are your limits? What can you do to expand your world? Are you limited by fear? Are you living within a chamber, with the sky rendered on its walls? What if you break out of these walls of false boundaries? We do need to set boundaries- true, but we often box ourselves in. ( I plan on creating a post about -not creating enough boundaries in one's life-, which is the other far end of the spectrum from the message of this post)
Some are truly limited by circumstances, but one can grow. I know this, because I am limited by circumstances (Lyme disease being one). But, I can still set goals beyond what my life allows at this time, and work toward those goals even if the process is slow. Know your limits, know what you can't do. But also know what you can do. Certain things cannot be controlled, but somethings can change when one works toward that change.
Any thoughts? Any enlightening experiences to share?
