Can you imagine what has happened here over the times?
Wealth, proudness, procreation, birth, death, marriage, children playing, celebrations, joy and mourning. For me it is much more obvious as in a castle immaculately restored ...

Do you have any info on that place? What used to be? Definitely a mansion of some sorts... the good thing about urban exploration is when we find information on the places we are shooting. I find it very hard to get the info...
Can you get inside or take more shots from other angles? Maybe try to stick the camera in a hole and shoot?
I'm such a curious person when it comes to dilapidated buildings. And I agree with you... it is more obvious when a place starts to fall apart...

No - in many ways.
Found it accidentally in a little village when driving around aimlessly in Normandy to find subjects for photography. As I didn't have the GPS-tracker on, it might be even difficult to find the exact location again.
And, of course, I would have liked to get closer, but it was all fenced in. Lucky enough there was a free view without obstacles, unfortunately not a very nice light ...
