thanks, Richard. i found cropping extremely difficult. as the two main components have such a different optical weight i am still not sure about the balance. used the diagonal as a backdoor ...

right, i should probably say this is one perfect crop. the diagonal is just right and the heavier element is lower, that gives the asymmetry the right feeling - imho.
there are also some sweet reflections in those two upper panes of glass.
