pretty interesting, but i feel that the 2D stuff is a bit to scattered and random and also the distortion or whatever you did in places by taking the alignment off just doesnt work... the render is pretty cool though, but a i think a different texture that matchs the black spacy background would work better
sorry if i seem harsh... im really only trying to tell you how to improve and i hope you can understand that
