History:
At a time, where mankind's most powerful weapons were fire and stone, the respect for the things beyond the vale was strong. Old and ancient beings aided and formed the tribes of early men. This beings - the old gods - where spoken to with humble respect and sacrifices where made in their name. One of those old being was a creature called Xyqu`zargky. A terrific beast with a twisted temper and seemingly endless hunger for blood and carnage. Twisted and fickle was his nature and a sacrifice in his name not always meant his blessing. Still, the beast seemed benevolent when respect was shown towards his mate; like described in an old nursery rhyme.

"Hurry child, for the night will come.

Hurry home as the sun still shines.

Don't you see the shadows grow;

Don't you feel the cold in tow?

See the flicker in the Night;

a flame comes walking in your sight.

With arm-long Fangs and bloodied claws;

Antlers large: only terror this fiend sows.

But when you hear the nights soft crowing,

lay a seed down; deeply bowing.

For his Ladies rooster watches you,

keeping harm away."

As time went by and mankind evolved, the old gods got more and more forgotten. Some - like the Loa - managed to survive and are still present in today's believes but most lost their power with their followers being eradicated by the church. Xyqu´zargky's cult seemingly died out long before this time but whispers are still heard about the ancient cannibals followers still worshiping him in secret and enhancing his power.

Trivia:
*Xyqu´zargky devours his own form once every 1.300 years to renew himself and adept his form to his current habitat. The new form only contain the most dominant of his memories (other important once are shared with his mate before the process so she can give them back to him) and allows a certain enhancement of his abilities. His mate is also the only one, he remembers at that point.
* He is less likely to kill someone if their offer includes something for his mate
*The particle-flames on his body are only visible while he is highly emotional
* The runes on his body are written in a language long forgotten by living and dead alike but they seem to pulse in tact with his heartbeat and emit a strange alluring sound when being close to him.
