Description
The last one was fun so I did another! I think I might do these for a while because I enjoy it and it lets me explore / learn some stuff without having to stress about character design so ya. Pokemon team description is below, but I did this write up a while ago and I don’t write down my reasoning so I’ve forgotten a lot of it. I’ll do my best though

Pancham - there were a few contenders for Stitch, but Pancham won out because in my mind it’s just a fun and mischievous bud who loves hanging out with its friends and playing pranks

Bellossom - because of Lilo’s love of hula and because I thought it matched the aesthetic well

Corsola - the best fitting water type that lives both in the water and can walk (yes walk, not just flop around like a Magikarp) on land who also fit the vibe I got from Lilo. Unfortunately it can’t get up to many adventures, but I think it would love to ride along however it can

Cubone - this one is fairly obvious, Lilo lost her parents and family is a the major theme in the movie so I like to think that Lilo and Nani came across two Cubones soon after their parents death and took them in. Nani’s has since evolved to help her with all her responsibilities while Lilo’s loves to hang out with the rest of the gang and play the ipu when the rest hula (I do not know how the ipu is played so they might need a Cubone sized one to actually play, but I thought they looked cute next to a bigger version of the instrument)

Elgyem - is also pretty obvious because, well, it’s an alien. In my mind, Lilo came across Elgyem hurt and alone then took them in. They can communicate on a simple level where some color combinations mean certain words or emotions

Pichu - probably less obvious, but Alolan Raichu surfs and Lilo surfs with Nani. I don’t remember why I chose Pichu over Pikachu, but it probably had to do with their Pokédex entries

Finally, I had to just note that Wishiwashi is Pudge because I love that opening sequence and could not leave Pudge out
