I should also note that Kill la Kill is pretty much gender neutral in terms of fanservice as both the males and females are subjected to it to a ridiculous degree, and played for laughs.
If anything, this anime parodies the fanservice premise, and is a step forward in equality.

Don't worry I thought the same thing when I saw it in the series. It is actually how it looks in the original Anime that is why this animation is pretty impressive! Check it out if you havent seen it, it is called "Kill la Kill".
