Description The Unspoken; the Unliving Flame; the Wicked One; formerly known as Artorius Pazal, a paladin of Bahamut (the leading deity for Gaius).  He long served the emperor of Gaius as a hand of justice, but his ego was his downfall, and in a nasty battle with a red dragon, he was severely wounded.  Feeling his own mortality for the first time, he became obsessed with death...and how to cheat it.  Dark whispers revealed to him how he could live forever, battle forever, in glorious flames...become an graveknight (think lich, but for melee-inclined characters).  He captured and enslaved the dwarven city of Hephestia's best forge priests, forcing them to craft the strongest armor ever conceived; when it was done, he sacrificed them all.  Tossing their maimed but not dead bodies onto the armor, it drank of their blood and when Pazal cast the flames upon them...the armor absorbed their power.  The last step, was to feed himself to the flames, and in doing so bond his soul to the armor for eternity.  From the ashes, his armor grew back Pazal's forever-scorched body; his skin cracked with molten light, he set out upon the land as a scourge against life, conqueror of death.  Should he ever be slain, his armor would merely grow his body back eventually...only total destruction of his armor will release him...
