Apparently someone was bored enough to figure out how to get their chao to not go Grey Cocoon on them.
(For those of you who don't know, chao normally go into either a pink cocoon or a grey cocoon when they die. Chao normally straight-up disappear if they go into a grey cocoon upon death. The fact that anyone was able to mummify a chao here means these chao did not properly die, but they're still dead. I would know because I used to be an avid chao garden caretaker.)
