Eszti, 24, model,fed-up. On my way to another party, after a while, they all blur together. sycophants and phonies, everyone out for themselves. none of it feels real anymore.

until... an alarm blares, red lights flash and then a thump and the grinding of metal on metal. suddenly, I am thrust back onto my bed as my pod accelerates. my helmet shoots across the room, splintering into a thousand pieces. outside the window, the transport ship recedes from view as a small screen flickers into life. It's the captain trying to stay calm. it's hard to tell what he says, something about rescue?, a fizzle, then nothing. I'm alone and I have no idea where I'm going or why.

in the distance, a purple speck no bigger than a grain of rice . Is this my salvation? all I can do is hope for a soft landing...
