"What do you mean you want me for your circus!?" Cas yelled at the ringmaster. "I might be some freak but I'm nothing for people like you to gawk at!" he continued to yell. He was trying his best to make a scene with how loud he was being. "If anything, you should be freeing some of the people you hold captive in this stupid show of yours. They're people too! They should be allowed to live life just like each and every one of us!" he raised an arm to slap the master but he was caught by one of the nearby guards.

"People like you are funny to watch and look at. What's the harm in that? I feed you. I clothe you. I make sure you can bathe. It's more like a," the ringmaster paused, "An all paid stay living arrangement in return for a little bit of work here and there." A grin peeked onto the master's face as they stared at Cascaedeus. "One of you... Take him away!" they said with a wave of the arm towards one of the guards. With that, a rush of people stormed in and took hold of Cas. He wasn't exactly the strongest person in the world so he was easily overpowered.

"What are you going to do to me!?" Cas yelled at them, now in a worried tone. "Let me go!" he yelled again trying to bite at one of their arms.

"Oh, shut up or I'll make sure you shut up," one of the guards said as they tied him up.

"Please! Let me go I need to go to school tomorrow!" Tears started to stream down the boy's face as he sat there. He gave up struggling and decided begging was his next best option. "Please I'll do anything! I'll give you money! I'll... I-... I'll suck you off or something just," he paused to gag for a moment before continuing to speak, "Just let me go!" A few of the guards laughed at him and his pleas for help.

"As if. I bet you don't even have money," one of them said. Eventually Cas was tied up all the way from his ankles up to his neck. The only way for him to move around was to inch on the ground like a caterpillar. To top it all off, before the last guard left Cas was tied to a nearby pole to ensure he wouldn't get anywhere. Cas's mouth was taped over with duct tape to keep him from screaming for help but that didn't stop him trying. Maybe 15 minutes passed by before he was out of breath. His face was caked over in dried tears as he worried for his future. He thought about his mother as he looked around the area he was thrown into.

"Mmn!" he made a muffled sound as he looked behind himself. The pole he was tied to looked as if it splintered easily. Trying his best to make his way over there he turned and flopped over, his face making its way to the floor. He then slowly inched his way over to the pole, dragging his face on the floor. Once he made it to the pole he turned his face and painfully used it to help prop himself up by climbing the length of the pole. He sat there as his eyes welled up from the pain. Cas never had a good pain tolerance even if it seemed like he could survive the craziest beatings. Staring at the pole he decided whether or not he should continue with his plan.

"Well look at the situation you got yourself into this time," a voice called out from behind the boy.

"MMM!!" Cas yelled as he swung his head around to look at his companion. "MMM! MM!? MMM!" he tried to speak to the creature. It just laughed for a moment before responding to him.

"Maybe we should have you tied up more often honey. This is funny to watch," it said to him. "I could just sit here and watch you struggle all day. The creature floated and shifted around as it watched him. Nearby appeared to be a paintbrush of sorts that looked to be the source of whatever this being is. Cas looked up at it before scowling and turning his head away. He looked at the pole for a few more minutes before taking a deep breath in through his nose and slamming his head against the wood. He then proceeded to scrape his face against it, trying to catch the duct tape on something so that he could peel it off his face. In the process wood chips started to embed themselves into his cheeks. He held back his screams for as long as he could handle before falling over with a muffled scream.

"Ooh... Gosh I didn't know you had it in you," the creature looked as if it was cringing at the state of the boy in front of it. "You're always so pathetic," it said to him as he was hunched over and resting on the pole. Cas looked up at the creature, breathing heavily. Small trickles of blood ran down his face from some of the larger splinters. For a moment it looked as if he was going to give up but he propped himself up with his shoulder before resting his face against the pole again. He had a few more attempts at removing the tape before he finally caught it on something and ripped it off enough for him to speak.

"INK YOU ASS, HELP ME!" Cas yelled at the top of his lungs. His voice sounded muffled and slurred but you could at least make out words from his speech. He started panting as he rested with his shoulder up against the pole again.

"Oh, that's what you wanted? My help?" it laughed before continuing to speak, "I thought you wanted to be independent for once and do things for help but NOOOOOOOO you want me to help you again. Is that it?"

"I swear to god Ink I can just get rid of you if I wanted to and you know it," Cas looked at him with a scowl.

"Stop bluffing boy. We both know you don't have the guts to get rid of me," it said before shifting into a humanoid form in a sitting position. "Plus, you know I was just picking on you," it smirked and got down to the floor, kneeling in front of him. "Don't worry I've got this," it said to him before grabbing the end of the tape and ripping it off of his face. "I am supposed to protect you after all... But if I do that all the time how would you learn how to fend for yourself," it told him.

As the tape was ripped off Cas yelled out before relaxing again. He started to speak more clearly, "Ink, you know right now isn't exactly the ideal time for me to 'learn how to fend for myself.' Just help me get out of here."

"What if you get into a situation like this later and I'm not around to help you then!?" Ink yelled at him. "What are you going to do then?" it asked. "This is why I don't like helping you. What if I suddenly disappear one day and you get yourself into some screwed up situation like you're in now. How are you going to get yourself out of it?" Ink pounded its fists at the ground as the tone in their voice grew serious.

"I..." Cas sighed. "I understand but you could at least tell me what I have to do even if you're not actually doing it," he pleaded with the monster.

"Fine... First of all I guess trying to get the tape off your mouth first was a good idea. The way you went about doing it wasn't exactly safe, though," Ink explained. It flew back up into a sitting position, looking down at Cas. "You should look around the room more before jumping to conclusions. You would have noticed the pole you're attached to isn't driven into the ground securely. Knowing your strength, even someone like you could have pulled it out if you just tried hard enough," it stopped for a moment to look around the room. "Your next task would of course have to be getting out of that rope," Ink flew around the room for a moment before looking over at his companion, "If you crawled around enough you would notice a broken animal cage over here. You could use it to cut the rope around you by turning your back to it and using it like a saw." After explaining what to do Ink flew over and hooked their hands into Cas's armpits before dragging him over to the cage, uprooting the pole in the process. It sat him up against the broken metal and waited for the boy to saw his way through the rope.

"Of course you say all of these things. You're not in the same situation I'm in. You can just fly around the damn room and look at everything. You're not in a panic trying to figure out what to do," Cas said in a passive aggressive tone. He leaned forward a little and tried to use the sharp edge of the broken cage to saw through the rope holding his arms down. Within a few minutes he was able to cut his way through it. "God my face hurts," he tried to wiggle a little to loosen the rope around him before untying himself.

"Look at you you're free!" Ink exclaimed in a half joking manner before going back to their serious tone. "Great now strip..." Ink said to him, giving a stern face.

"Strip!?" Cas sorta half yelled, not wanting to draw attention to himself since he's free. "What the hell why!?" he questioned the beast.

"Are you really a dumbass? I thought you were smarter than this," it said to him. "You're invisible remember. Strip and I'll try to clean your face up a little so that people can't see you. Maybe you can even help some of the others escape in the process," the creature explained. Cas scowled and groaned for a moment before stripping himself of his clothing. Ink then flew back to the ground before appearing to cover the entirety of Cas's face and pulling away. Cas yelled as he felt every single piece of wood in his face be ripped clean from his flesh.

"There... None of the splinters were exactly embedded into your face so you'll have some nice scabs here and there but that's it," Ink said before dropping the wood chips and splinters to the floor. Along with it came a few pools of blood. "I filled in some of the wounds so that it won't bleed but make sure you stay in dark areas so they cant see the black specs floating around," it told him. "While you're at it, we may as well help some others escape too. It's not our fault if they get caught again in the process though... (To be Continued)
