Description I think I've never EVER spent that much time on a drawing before. Who ever designed Lokis clothing, they really didn't make it easy for people to create fanart. I thought the armor was complicated, but this outfit was almost harder to do.

Made in GIMP, 94 layers, about 20 hours work, original resolution 4200 x 3100 px.

Feel free to share, but please post a link to the original.

Goddamn.Β  Honey, that is not a drawing; that is a painting.Β  Own your talent.

I hate his costume so much.Β  It's gorgeous, but the straps make no sense and there's just so much to it and augh.Β  And now I'm talking like Tumblr, but that's what this man does to me.

Seriously though, this is gorgeous.Β  I'm especially impressed at the textures of his shoulder bits and his armour.Β  If I had one tip to offer it would be to spend a bit more time on his hands next time.Β  Hiddleston's hands are almost spidery in appearance.

This is amazing though.Β  I always admire people who have the patience to paint like this, because I do not.Β  I just do funny doodles and call it good.

Patience is probably one of my strengths, but I'm bad at drawing quick sketches, I always have the urge to keep refining them endlessly. So that's not so easy either.

Yep, that's a bit annoying. Often it's not possible to comment, you have to reblog the whole thing, which also "blocks" your blog after a while. WHEN you can comment, there is no notification, so late comments don't get noticed.
