Mariah (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders) - Like Mariah, Rayla comes off as a calm, cool-headed person. However, she easily loses her cool whenever things don't go according to plan. She contorts her face and bites her lip comically when she is upset or uncomfortable. She also has a very distinctive laugh, which she does when she has her opponents helplessly trapped in her sliver graphene chains.

Emerald Sustrai (RWBY) - Like Emerald, Rayla initially appears to be affable and disarmingly friendly. However, this belies a darker side of her character. On the whole, she seems to be genuinely outgoing and quick-witted, if a little short-fused. she can also act a little childish or petty, such as when she stuck her tongue out at Rebecca after she stole her lighter to mock her.
