It's terrible in comparison to Faust's former shows, and it's still the same as it's always been: promoting children's toys, with a shitty scenario and terribly written characters that are essentially recolors of each other.

That sounds WAY too much like the old My Little Pony cartoon (That, in fact, was restricted into promoting children's toys).
The writing was a bit decent though and could just use a bit more work.
Then again, it wasn't like Faust and the crew expected such a huge success among the mainstream audience.
What I do want say is that the show could, perhaps, use some action.

Except the old my little pony cartoons, as boring as they were, used unique ponies and not recolors. Not to say, but flash? Come on, this is television, not Newgrounds.
I know this is supposed to be for an audience with lower standards but the show doesn't look any better than a series of super meat boy cutscenes.
And for the action bit, there's none of it. All episodes are simply ponies prancing around for 20 minutes. Nothing in pyroland is related to this.

I don't hate it, the whole thing is a play on the cutesy little cartoon thing, so since it's part of the concept it's excusable, plus it doesn't pretend to be as big as MLP : FiM makes itself sound.

It's not hate, it's opinion; respect it. There are plenty of other, good, shows that wouldn't mix with TF2 either. As much as I like Billy & Mandy, I would probably facepalm at the sight of a TF2 crossover, unless it were REALLY clever, which it isn't in this case.
