Reminds me of the forest fairy-life-bringing-spirit after her fight with destruction/lava and the mouse comes to save her...she's weak but eventually starts growing her foliage back and become vibrant and healthy enough to help the forest re-grow from the fire damage. Yay Fantasia 2000! Yeah, so that's what this reminds me of....I like that the unicorn isn't shooting a rainbow out of an orifice and that the fairy's wings are basically not there, you can just make them out as if they are beating too fast....the only thing that I keep staring at for the wrong reasons is her boot....it just doesn't belong! Other than that though, I love the choppy colors and everything else.

Love the awesome look of the unicorn! Also love how Fairy tale for adults, doesn't just mean there are hot ladies in it, this looks like it's just bot suitable for kids.

I'm going to start by saying that You really need to study anatomy. The anatomy on the Faerie is really really off, as her head appears to not be connected to her body, her breasts are less breasts and more lumps in the general area of the chest, and she lacks any muscles or shoulder blades on her torso. Her body is stretched thin, as you've added a bit in-between her chest and hips that doesn't exist. The back has no definition to it and looks flat, meaning her spine looks like it might go straight into her right shoulder. The part joining her chest to her hips stretches down to the leg, when it should tuck down into the pelvis area more. The arm you've drawn is very thin, and the shading to it is probably the worst part of the figure as it puts it out of perspective with the Unicorns head. The Unicorn itself has bad shading, it's head looks warped and the neck doesn't appear to give any indication as to whether it's facing forwards or to the side. The neck is also out of perspective to the Faerie too. So basically, learn your anatomy right. My best suggestion would be to read Andrew Loomis' 'Figure drawing for all it's worth' [link] .
The surrounding background is over contrasted and lacks any sense of scale or form, in some sections it looks like you pasted pictures of flowers down and scribbled bright colours and brushes over them with no thought. If you're going to go for a random feel, don't spazz out, and actually think about what you're putting down in contrast to the rest of the piece and draw a good outline to the shapes beforehand. Because otherwise the whole thing becomes a large mess, which is what has happened to the background of this.
So in short, work on it, because you need a lot of practice in almost every area of the piece.
