Description
I am such a huge fan of Elliott Smith it's ridiculous.
I love his music and his composing and his writing, I just thought he was a musical genius.
So, I've attempted drawing Elliott Smith that took two days once but that was a disaster.
So, for my final project my art teacher allowed me to use chalks instead of colored pencils to draw Elliott Smith.
This was my way of redeaming myself of my first poor attempt.
It took me 4 weeks on this chalk drawing.
I originally did it in chalk pencils but I was blending the chalk with tissues that had lotion so the pencils wouldn't go on anymore.
So I had to go over everything with thick heavy chalk.
Personally, I don't like how this turned out. I can pick out so many things I could fix and would have if I had more time to do so.
But so far people who have seen this art work of mine liked it so I thought, hey, put it on deviantart.
