Always beautiful work, even though I like emotionless better. This one is much sader, filled with less hope. I like the crispness of the image. Your work always continues to suprise me and amaze me.

love the DOF here, as well as the tones


one thing though....aside from the image
you should definetly mention that the quote originates from Paul Simon / Art Garfunkel even if we all know that already

just from one artists point of view to the other --pay them there rightly deserved respect

i think the title suits this pic really well, there definately is the sense of silence; from the stillness of the water, not a single ripple. i also think you have really great depth of field in this picture, the little wharf/pier has great focus and detail, while the background is softly blurred to help bring the attention to the fine grains of the wood. the reflection in the water is quite stunning too, great job on this.

that's very pretty...the tones are nice, and the sharp bridge orks well in contrast with the softer grass and sky...the reflection is beautiful too...
