This is how Flash Gordon would have appeared in most Sunday papers. It makes you realize that the comics section of your average Sunday paper today is not worth wiping your ass with. Anyway, this is Dale as Ming's captive. It's pretty much been established that he had her strip and dress in his presence. The text euphemistically says that Dale is "banqueting " with Ming. The final panel however reveals that Dale's hands are bound behind her back! What sort of banqueting can she do sans hands? Had Alex Raymond just slipped a fellatio allusion in there? That certainly seems to be the case and would explain Dale's especially forlorn expression. This Comic strip is something else and there has never been anything like it since. The stuff Alex Raymond got away with is jaw dropping!
