Description
Considering software, this is probably the most advanced piece running in my house. It can be put on Windows XP level, and when it comes to speed, that kinda agrees After all, running GUI Linux on 350 MHz CPU.. but after it starts (usually about 1.5 minute compared to 15-20 seconds with Windows 98), it works sufficiently. I must say, in 99% of my working time this dual-boot OS is not used. It was installed in 2005. Of course, at job I work with Windows 7/8/XP and six/eight core CPUs with 8+ GB RAM, but frankly, absolute speed of computer reactions are usually comparable, and I somehow don't know why I should invest into IT now (lucky person, I guess, or a stupid one).
