Hi everybody.

I just want to greet and thank everyone for their greetings and congratulations,

I'm very happy of have been favored with the first place in Darksiders contest.

I also want to extend my congratulations to the other winners, I feel very honored to share the result with tremendous artists, to Sandara whose work just fascinates me, and independent of this result, I tell you when I saw her work (for the previous contest and this contest) I was speechless, I love her psychological and the elegant management of their works, and I wish to convey her my most sincere greetings and admiration.

Equally Mr Eldeivi , whose characters are dynamic and enviable vitality, (great characterizations of characters from video games) his humor hit the mark laughing at everything that went out in the end of the world XD.

I should add that throughout the selection, I was always on uncertain ground by the fact that the competition rules were understood as an invitation to perform works of wide interpretation, the end of the world in your way, I almost didn't participate for thinking that the contest was more conceptual, but on another side of the coin, I was always a fan of action and dark line in large measure by the work of artists like Joe Madureira, Simon Bisley, etc. in the 90's. So I thought it best to include all these elements and epic action codes that I have liked a lifetime .

Under no circumstances faced conflict between commercial and conceptual, something I learned long ago in my career as an illustrator. Everything in it context allways.

Solo quiero saludar y agradecer a todos por sus saludos y felicitaciones.
Estoy muy feliz de haber sido favorecido con el primer lugar del contest.

También quiero hacer llegar mis felicitaciones a los demás ganadores, me siento muy honrado de compartir el resultado con tremendos artistas, a Sandara cuyo trabajo simplemente me fascina, e independiente de este resultado, les cuento que cuando ví su trabajo (para el contest y previo a ello) me quedé sin habla, adoro su manejo sicológico, sensible y elegante de sus obras, y deseo hacerle llegar mi sincero saludo y admiración.

Debo agregar que a lo largo de la selección, yo me sentó siempre en terreno incierto por el hecho de que las bases del concurso se entendían como una invitacion a realizar obras de amplia interpretación, el fin del mundo "a tu manera", por poco no participo por pensar que el criterio era de carácter mas conceptual.... pero en otro lado de la moneda, siempre fuí fan de la línea de acción y dark en gran medida por la obra de autores de Joe madureira, Simon Bisley,Silvestri etc, en los 90.
Asi que pensé que lo mejor sería incluir todos esos elementos y códigos de acción épica que me han gustado de toda la vida .
En ningún caso enfrentado un conflicto entre lo comercial y lo conceptual, algo que aprendi hace mucho en mi carrera como ilustrador... Todo en su contexto siempre.
