When Kirby and EYeZ were still little, big-eared sacrificed his soul so that his horned friend would live. One day, he lost both his little axolotl Vivi and Kirby when they came across an unpleasant company. EYeZ's eyes have been black ever since, because his soul belongs to Death. However, after the big-eared's act, Kirby got involved with Life, and now he supports his friend's condition. These two have a close enough bond that helps them almost feel each other.
