Shadow has lived in Space Colony ARK from the day he was created, so as he saw white cotton looking balls fall from the sky, he was more than surprised. He remembers seeing these in old books they provided in the Ark's library. He remembers how Maria called it and how in love she was with it, despite never have seen it herself.
"Snow? " he whispered.
Sonic looked back at his boyfriend "What is it Shads? "
"Snow? "
"Err, yeah? What about it? " He hasn't seen Shadow looking this... Intrigued? Mesmerized? "You act like you've never seen-" Bam. Duh. Sonic could've, and maybe should have, slapped himself. This was Shadow's first winter on Earth, therefore it was his first time seeing the beautiful white coat, something that didn't catch Sonic's attention anymore as he was used to it. He looked back at Shadow, and stared.
He looked so innocent and child-like, so vulnerable, so...beautiful. Shadow never took his eyes from the snow, and Sonic never took is eyes from Shadow. He has seen so many expressions on his boyfriend's face, many that no one else has ever seen, and this one was a new one. Another one that will be forever imprinted in his mind. "Yeah Shadow, it's snow. "
"It's beautiful"
"You're beautiful" he muttered softly.
He smiled at his cute little boyfriend.

That was, IDK too cliched? Too romantic? I tried here and I wanted to submit it before Christmas. Srsly tho Shadow has always lived on ARK I imagine him like this Omg sorry 🙈I'm on mobile bc why not . I suck at writing so bare with me here xD.
