(2009) 9"x12" Pencil on PaperHermione may be a know-it-all, but when it comes to potions the real expert is still Snape, and in this case he does not seem too impressed with our star pupil's results.
Just felt it was time for a little Snape again...

Anyway, this is very nice! I love their expressions! Especially Snape's. He does not look amused! He's never amused, though... I also love that you took the time to draw people in the background! Very nice attention to detail! And I like how you drew the book in Hermione's hands... And Hermione's hands... And well, the entire thing!

What drawing technik did you use.
especialy for shading? Hatching, squirkles with stomper or else?

Thank you! Mostly very soft shading with light parallel pencil strokes laid over one another to deepen by degrees. I rarely blend anything.
