Ooh, nice little trick with the hiding in the trees. It's an eye illusion, and I always enjoyed them since looking at one of Bernini's sculptures and seeing how details sprang to mind long after the initial viewing. Crow's Goddess in Mythology was the Morrigan, and always a favorite of mine, although I did like Cuchullain a little bit more since she was quite conflicted in the way she treated him.
Maev was better than either, though. A true insane Sorceress that remained eternal and relatively unchanged in time.
