This composition is brilliant Gene, the atmosphere is scary, dark, gloomy !!! What is a hint of Genius in my point of view, is that the eyes and the tail lights of the car are directly linked, striking at first glance, creating an impactful unity, giving substance to the composition with this strong vertical line that connect them straight away. All the elements work in symbiosis to make this scene explosive, surprising, breathtaking !!!! This muted tones palette blended with dark areas, create at once an amazing chiaroscuro and a bright / dull contrast, with the warm chromatic code that convey fear, these colors work as an alarm, the spicy yellow and the red mean danger, even you emphasise this opressive atmosphere, framing these vivid touches in an imaginary triangle that looks like an arrow, that points more the altert message about the fog danger. Furthemore, the reflections on the road are very skilled, you add speed, blur, you repaint each pixel, all the details are impressive, the fog so well executed !!!! The monster is the result of your outstanding creativity, it litterally invades the screen, ocupating nearly fully the upper half of your wallpaper. You inject a kind of electric fog generated by this creature, you make it wear massive parts of stone, and you paint endless tentacles, that enhance his heavy presence, followed my meteors that seem to belong to it. You stage this scene in a theatral way, in a wide and rich plan, in which you include a sharp turn, that gives the impression that the road is sliding more and more. The danger focus is really well orchestrated, making this piece incredible !! This is litterally spectacular Gene !!!!

This is just too *shuddersome*. This image immediately called to mind King's novella "The Mist". And like a previous commenter said that is a cue to turn 180 degrees and leave as swiftly as you can without putting the car in a ditch.
