This sole idea of this painting was simple, a Hill Giant using his sword as a skewer. YUMMMMY.I also wanted to explore a not so BAD looking giant. Why we all got to be haters

I feel like somewhere along the line, we started trying a little TOO hard to make hill giants look grody and disgusting. This feels a lot more natural. He's not the MOST well groomed giant in the world, but he takes care of himself!
