Kind of a little mermaid fanart but a bit twisted XD because in my head the transformation from mermaid/fish would be more realistic and gruesome hahaand i failed on the background as always

If the background would be darker and the character a little bit brighter (with some stronger highlights), then the contrast would be a bit better and the picture where more readable, but the bg is not a fail at all, it's still a lovely artwork you can be proud of. :3

Love your take on the transformation! As I got older I had the same feeling you do, that it would have hurt a lot more and been more gruesome than it seemed like in the movie. BUT, you know Disney... has to be kid friendly lol and I love it anyways. Good job!

Your idea about the transformation is really nice! I love it! Your mer...maid? is beautiful too! Your background is not detailed, but it's good too! I just don't know why it has so many tentacles around her? Is it the presence of the sea witch, Ursula? It's just that detail that bug me 'cause I don't know why it has tentacles, maybe I miss a thing?
